Basic knowledge of CNC tools
The hardness of the cutting part of the tool must be higher than the hardness of the workpiece material. The higher the hardness of the tool material, the better its abrasion resistance. The hardness of the tool material at room temperature should be above HRC62.
Enough strength and toughness
The tools are under great pressure during cutting. Sometimes they work under impact and vibration conditions. To make the tool do not collapse and break, the tool material must have sufficient strength and toughness. Generally, the strength of the bending strength should indicate the strength of the tool material. Use the impact value to represent the toughness of the tool material.
Higher heat resistance

Good thermal conductivity

Materials also require good sintering and stressful performance.
